He's probably right. But I can't help being a fan of Ms Gillard too. She's everything K R Puff'n'Fluff isn't and more.

But Jones and I aren’t alone among conservatives falling for a politician whose choice of books now suggests she’s readying to take over from the increasingly friendless Kevin Rudd.
Here, for instance, is the Sydney Morning Herald’s Miranda Devine: “(Gillard) spoke so much sense in her speech, and answered questions with such verve and wit, that reporters leaving the Press Club could do little more than shake their heads in admiration.”
